Less pain, more gain?

After getting my vo2 max test taken this Saturday I’ve decided to take the advice from the trainer that gave it and work more in the early fat burning zones, instead of the performance increases ones. As I told the trainer the issue with this is my ego is tied to my workout intensity, but I also acknowledge that I’mve been working out like a beast for the past 6 weeks and I only have 8lbs of weight loss to show for it.

So I started the new plan today in spin class. 60 minutes of spin class, average heart rate of 128. Calories burned 983. The upside of this change is I wasn’t hear as tired as I got ready for work this morning. Three cheers for not being as tired!

The scale said 307 this morning.

Great to see people working at meeting their goals. Did you get picked in the Ironman Hawaii lottery? or is your plan do a different IM to qualify for the race?
